Prof. Dr. Demet Funda Baş is a neurologist and academic currently practicing at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, where she continues her clinical and academic work in the fields of vascular neurology and interventional neurovascular treatments.

Fluent in English, Prof. Dr. Baş has numerous scientific articles and presentations published in national and international journals.

In 2017, she worked at the comprehensive stroke center of İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital and earned the title of Associate Professor the same year. During this period, she conducted significant studies in advanced vascular interventions, post-stroke rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary patient management.

In 2023, she was appointed as a Professor at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Medicine and began working in a fully equipped stroke center. read more>>
